These are some of the materials we recommend when you are looking to update or remodel your kitchen floor

  • Bamboo flooring is a trend for kitchen flooring because it is not only environmentally friendly, but elegant and durable as well. Bamboo is a renewable resource and harvesting bamboo doesn’t kill it.Consider using bamboo if you want an eco-friendly, easy to clean flooring in high traffic areas.  Keep  in mind that this material does scratch and dent, so be sure to keep your pets’ nails clipped.
  • Laminate is great for high traffic kitchens, and it handles spills and scratches better than other materials.  If you like the look of hardwood or tile but want a more economical material, than laminate is a good option.  Laminate is also requires minimal maintenance and is long lasting.
  • Tile flooring is beautiful and practical as well because it doesn’t absorb bacteria or odors. Tiles come in a wide variety of colors and matches every personality. While it is easy to clean,  it is worth noting that tile flooring can be hard to stand on for long periods of time, and is cold on barefeet.
  • Luxury Vinyl flooring today is different from the vinyl of the past, thanks to technology, this material is not only practical and affordable but is made to mimic the look of hardwood.  Luxury vinyl is  thicker, so it’s softer to walk on than other materials.  Luxury vinyl is durable and withstands spills, scratches and dents better than the vinyl made in the past.
  • Hardwood is a classic choice for the elegance and warmth it brings to any room.  It is easy to clean and doesn’t retain dust or allergens. Hardwood is a good investment and adds value to your home, however it is susceptible to water damage, scratches and spills.  It is important to clean up any spills quickly to avoid warping the hardwood.
